As we move toward’s the 4th of July next week, it’s time to celebrate all our favorite American pastimes, traditions and symbols. And what could be more American than pie? This year we’ve partnered up with Nashville’s Loving Pie Company for a 4th of July contest, giving away two of their delicious pies!
Loving Pie Company is Nashville’s only full service pie diner, which means you now have permission to eat pie for breakfast. They have dining rooms inside and picnic tables outside, as well as a full espresso bar and free wifi. In fact, we highly recommend a visit to this Berry Hill area diner because of the charm factor alone. Like many of the Berry Hill businesses, Loving Pie Company operates out of an older home and guests immediately feel relaxes upon arrival. The space is cozy and warm and feels like a true cafe, where guests are meant to linger over long conversations with coffee and pie. Don’t have time to dine-in? Don’t worry you can pick up an order, and even get a whole pie (just be sure you order 24 hours in advance). They do only serve pie, but they offer both sweet and savory options. The menu is impressive, offering everything from mac-n-cheese pie to coconut custard pie. They also have specials that change regularly based on what’s in season or holidays.
We can’t help but point out that the Loving Pie Company reviews are amazing. Talk to anyone who’s been there and you’re sure to get a long list of reasons why you need to go too. Loving Pie Company is truly another example of what keeps people in love with Nashville: incredible food, wonderful people, and an atmosphere that allows you to slow down and savor it all. We’re pretty sure this is exactly what Chef/Owner Suzanne Loving had in mind when she opened up five years ago and we are so glad she did.
