Anyone new to the Nashville area may not understand the appeal of heading to a hotel at Christmas time just to walk around. However, we can’t recommend this outing enough for families and couples alike. With over 2 million lights strung inside and out, the hotel is transformed into a magical place to wander around. In fact, one can pay for parking and spend a few hours roaming through the acres of indoor waterfalls and gardens.
Opryland also offers carriage rides, a Dreamworks experience complete with characters, and an ICE attraction where families are literally surrounded by ice!
Even if you can’t fit it in before Christmas, don’t worry because the lights stay up through January 1st. But trust us, if you haven’t been or even if it’s just been awhile, it’s a holiday experience worth having.
