What Does A $500k Home For Sale In Nashville Look Like?

Yahoo Finance recently posted about what $1 Million Buys You Around The World and highlighted property from all over, including New York and London.  Naturally, some of the world’s most expensive real estate markets were selected, but it was still a bit of a shock to see just how little home you can get for that kind of money.

There are certainly $1 million dollar homes for sale in the Nashville area; some are farm lands, some are estates, and some are just located in exactly the right place. However, since the Nashville real estate market does differ from New York and Australia, we thought it would be more interesting to see just how much home you can actually buy for half the price.

Here’s what a $500k home for sale in Nashville looks like.

This beautiful Franklin home sits on just under a full acre lot and boasts over 4,300 square feet. This two-story house is in a desirable Franklin neighborhood, a short drive from Nashville.

Think that London and New York are the only places for upscale, at-home entertainment? With a multi-trey ceiling and lovely trim work, this formal dining area is perfect for guests and dinner parties.

Of course, in the South the heart of the home is the kitchen. With custom cabinets, granite counters and an elegant backsplash your guests will be just as content hanging out casually in here as they will be in the formal spaces.

Wide open space with enough room to move about is what makes this master suite stand out.  This beautiful bathroom is a welcome retreat!

Now, one of the truly remarkable differences about buying a house in Nashville (and surrounding areas) versus buying a home in other major real estate markets: backyards. Take entertaining outdoors with this lovely patio overlooking the fenced backyard. It’s also a fantastic spot for early morning coffee or for spending quiet time with the family.

As Nashville continues to gain attention and grow, the Nashville real estate market is bound to increase as well, and eventually $1 million won’t buy as much as it does today. For now though, you can spend half of that and walk right into an amazing amount of house!
